The CAME KMS SimpleKey PC administration readers primary purpose is to identify CAME KMS ID devices (tokens, fobs, RF transmitters etc.), subsequently allowing for improved fob management when used in conjunction with the CAME KMS cloud management user portal (SimpleKey Web). This desktop reader provides SimpleKey Web administrators with a more effective token management process. Upon presentation of a valid token the details of the unique code embedded within the token can be seen on the SimpleKey Web user screen. Any associated information pertaining to this token is then available to the user allowing them to see where the token belongs and a complete history of its use. The system user can instantly make changes to the token credentials if needed. The inbuilt RF reader is capable of reading both 153 & 125 KHZ type devices and has a bi-coloured LED and sounder to indicate an ID device has been read. Connection to the PC uses a standard type A USB 2.0 connection (Keyboard Emulation). The USB reader does not provide any control function and is purely a Human Input Device. It has no on-board memory or software and will only work as part of the SimpleKey Web cloud-based user platform. For added security SimpleKey Web is hosted on Amazon Secure Web Servers (AWS) therefore does not need client’s IT services other than the ability for a user to browse to their SimpleKey Web cloud portal.
